Teacher's Bio
Jordan Dancer is an acknowledged and awarded Middle Eastern - Raqs Sharqi performer and instructor with an extensive learning and performance history. Throughout her professional dance career, she has performed and taught extensively throughout the bay area as well as other parts of the country – and she continues to perform, collaborate, and study with numerous dance artists. Jordan was director and choreographer of the awarding dance company, Troupe Nafisa, owner of Al Oda Dance Studio in San Jose, and co-founder/producer of the annual Desert Dance Festival in San Jose.
